'Psychoanalysis and the Public Sphere' 33k
In this short talk I set out my agenda for a libertarian socialist approach to psychoanalysis and the psychoanalytic approach to politics. It was presented to the first Psychoanalysis and the Public Sphere conference, jointly sponsored by Free Associations and the Department of Sociology of East London Polytechnic. This and subsequent conferences have been a gathering of the left in the psychoanalytic and psychotherapy communities, along with academics in other disciplines interested in psychoanalysis.
