The Writings of Professor Robert M. Young
'Deadly Unconscious Logics in Joseph Heller's - Catch 22' 50k.
Catch -22 is one of my absolutely favourite novels. I don't just like it; I think it is a great classic and its view of the world corresponded to my experience. I have for a long time wanted to write about it and took the opportunity of the 1993 'Psychoanalysis and the Public Sphere' conference to take a Kleinian look at it. The essay will appear in 'The Psychoanalytic Review'.
