"Thought Field Therapy™ is defined as
"...a treatment for psychological disturbances which provides a
code that when applied to a psychological problem an individual is
focusing upon will eliminate perturbations in the Thought Field, the
fundamental cause of all negative emotions. This code is elicited using
a causal diagnostic procedure through which the TFT™ algorithms were
developed." The treatment itself involves the stimulation of
identified energy meridian points on the body in a defined and precise
sequence. Most individuals treated in this way report complete
resolution of their problem in a matter of minutes. Research in 1986
(replicated in 1996) has shown TFT™ to have a success rate of up to
97% in the treatment of anxiety and phobias. Further information and
research data can be obtained at The Callahan Techniques Ltd. website at
http://www.tftrx.com"
