An international, interdisciplinary
journal of "open peer commentary," BBS publishes important and
controversial interdisciplinary "target articles" in
psychology, neuroscience, behavioral biology, cognitive science,
artificial intelligence, linguistics and philosophy. Articles are
rigorously refereed and, if accepted, are circulated to a large number
of potential commentators around the world in the various specialties on
which the article impinges. Their 1000-word commentaries are then
co-published with the target article as well as the author's response to
each. The commentaries consist of analyses, elaborations, complementary
and supplementary data and theory, criticisms and cross-specialty
syntheses.
"If we completely take the behavioral health
professions apart (and that is what is happening) there will be no
trained and skilled professionals to ever help alleviate these problems.
In the past we have not applied the expert skills of these professionals
in an intensive manner to help solve these terribly difficult issues.
And now we are being completely abandoned. Most authorities have cited
that there will be about 25% of the psychologists in practice in the
next year as there were last year."

If you type in more than one keyword (such as
"nucleic acid"), you will receive only entries that have both
"nucleic" and "acid" in their titles (so
you might want to run the words in a multiword term separately). If
you're uncertain of a spelling, run a word fragment (e.g., if you
don't know if it's spelled "murine" or "murean,"
just query with "mur.") Please also note that you should
search for the singular version of a word instead of the plural
(i.e., look for "triglyceride" as opposed to "triglycerides").
