Another Empty Bottle, an award-winning site for the friends and family of
alcoholics, is a 4-month-old site. It contains information about alcoholism; links to
sites on alcoholism, depression, domestic abuse, family, self-help; help groups and
hotlines; personal stories submitted by visitors (over 30 so far!); a touching,
yet-informative kid's section; a one-stop recovery site building shop for those wishing to
create their own recovery web site; a listing of chat rooms; a discussion area for
visitors to post questions or comments; and more! Another Empty Bottle has been featured
on many "Site of the hour/day/week" sites and won over 50 design/content awards.
It has been featured in The Mining Company's alcoholism area. It is listed on such sites
as the HealthLinks.Net, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Alcohol Concern (a
national agency in England and Wales), the top listing in LookSmart's alcohol area, the
only alcoholism-related site listed on the EducationIndex.com, and a 3-star site listed on
the Mental Health Net. And, just this weekend, the site was featured on USA Today's
